Critique Services
Sarah offers manuscript and query critiques throughout the year. If you're looking for someone to read your work, please feel free to contact Sarah about her availability.
Sarah has an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults and is happy to look at work aimed for children or adult audiences. She specializes in genre and contemporary fiction, but if your manuscript falls outside of these parameters, please feel free to check with her on her ability to provide your writing with the assistance you're looking for.
QUERY CRITIQUES
Sarah teaches regular workshops on how to craft a query that will get you manuscript requests. If you can't attend one of these workshops, she also provides query critiques at the below varying levels:

TESTIMONIALS
"Sarah puts to use a unique set of complementary editorial skills. Her big picture comments astutely honed in on my manuscript's weaknesses, and helped me focus on how to strengthen my character arc and plot. Plus she read my novel so closely, she caught all the little logic errors that are easy to miss, making for a fantastic line edit. Her edits were sharp and helped me get my manuscript into tip-top querying shape!"
-- Writer Elle Evans
"Sarah helped me realize that I was focusing too much on the personal aspect of the query and was able to reign me back in to the business of what needs to be told. Since working with Sarah, I've had requests from agents to see more, and I know it's because of her help restructuring my query."
